This website is a trial website under development for the Hickmans of Gringley on the Hill.

We Hickmans are NOT related, as far as we can tell, to the much more famous Hickman family of nearby Gainsborough. We do however have detailed family history on both Dawn and Alan going back to the 18th Century.

We have both lived in this village since 2000. Our house in the High Street dates back to the 1830s, and in the Edwardian postcard below it was one of the village shops - Blackwells. The other card shows the Edwardian view looking west. The house is currently for sale - check out RIGHT MOVE.
